Samuel H. Kohr, 66, of Lilac Drive, Mechanicsburg, died Wednesday in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was the retired owner of Uncle Sam's Grocery Market, Harrisburg; a veteran of World War II; and a member of the Retail Grocers Association.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria L. Kohr; a son, Samuel T. Sr.,of Harrisburg; three daughters, Brenda A. Pickett of Enola, Ginnie L. Medellin of Harrisburg, and Betty Jo of Mechanicsburg; a stepson, Charles W. Thomas Jr. of New York; a stepdaughter, Dorothy S. Fraker of Newville; three brothers, Joseph of Georgia, and Jay and Edward, both of Harrisburg; five sisters Lillian Miller of Pittsburgh, Grace Moore of Cincinnati, Mary Dane of Lebanon, and Kathleen Miller and Naomi Rodkey, both of Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Neumyer Funeral Home with the Rev. Timothy R. Baer officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Twp.
