William, 77, of Hubbardston, passed away Monday, at his home with family by his side. Dugan was born to George and Loretta (O'Connell) McGinn Sr.

He married Betty Jean Husted on July 27, 1957 at the Rectory at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston.

Dugan served during the Korean Conflict in the Army. He worked as a driver for Hood and Stoudt Beverage Distributing. He was a life member of the Hubbardston American Legion Post and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Dugan was instrumental in forming Dugan's Field and was involved as a coach and friend to the Hubbardston Little League program for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Betty of Hubbardston, twin daughters Ronda McGinn and Mark Schafer of Hubbardston, Renee (Lance) Ewalt of Hubbardston, five grandchildren Taylor McGinn, Rechelle Ewalt, Raelyn Ewalt, Trevor McGinn, Tuckor Dugan McGinn and two brothers Raymond (Marion) McGinn of Hubbardston, and Jack (Ginnie) McGinn of FL.

Dugan was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings George McGinn Jr., Maureen Dwyer and Helen McKenna.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 18, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Hubbardston with Fr. Tom Thompson officiating. Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City was in charge of the arrangements.
A Rosary Service held.

Memorials may be made to Dugan's Field care of Ronda McGinn.
