Note: Her name is spelled Ethely M. on her parents' memorials, but is Ethel in the McCurtain Gazette obituary.

DEQUEEN -- (Special) -- Mrs. Ethel Burkhead, 70, of Lockesburg died Sunday afternoon at a DeQueen hospital.

She was a member of the Baptist Church in Lockesburg.

Among her survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Kitty June Kline, Broken Bow, and Mrs. Maurice Street, Idabel.

Funeral services were set for 10:30 a.m. today at the First Baptist church of Lockesburg with burial in Corinth cemetery near Center Point, Ark.
