Mr. Marcus Holt, 78, died at his home in Jamestown on Monday, March 23, at about 8:00 a.m., after several weeks of illness. He was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church and a Mason in Russell Lodge No. 284.
Mr. Holt is survived by his wife, Velma; two sons, Glenn Holt, of Jamestown, and B.J. Holt, Indianapolis, Indiana; one daughter, Gladys Nickel of Jamestown; two sisters, Minnie Butler and Edith Brooks, both of Russell Springs. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday), March 25, at 10:00 a.m., at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapels, with Rev. Floyd Bosher and Rev. Phil Neyhart officiating. Interment will be in the Jamestown Cemetery. H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapels are in charge of arrangements.
