Gordon is the son of John and Julia (Gallas)Konitzer born in Oconto Falls, WI on Sept. 26, 1922. He married Floralee Carling on Jan. 3, 1942. Gordon passed away on their 56th wedding anniversary.
They had six children. John B.;Charles Lee; Sharon Josephs; Dennis James; James Lee and Lynn Poe.
Gordon was a World War II veteran who served from May 1945 to July 1946. He trained O.S.C. candidates. He enjoyed music and playing his concertina.
Sadly three grandchildren and a daughter-in-law perished in a house fire in Lena, WI in 1986. Son, John lost his wife, Colleen and children, Travis, Amanda and Melissa.
