Ann Linfield Petty, 85, of Temple, Texas, passed away June 22, 2010, in a Georgetown hospital. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at the First Presbyterian Church of Belton with the Rev. Judy Liljestrand officiating. Burial will be at the North Belton Cemetery.

Ann was born in Gulfport, Miss., to the late Dr. Edwin Harper Linfield and Olivia Barrett Linfield. She was a graduate of Gulf Park College. She married O. L. Petty on June 25, 1945, in Gulfport, Miss. Ann was an artist, and was a member of the Salado Village Artists. She was an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Belton.

She is survived by her husband, O. L. Petty, of Temple; sons, David William Petty and wife, Laura, of Lake Belton and Stephen Edwin Petty and wife, Sherry, of Salado; daughter, Jeanne Ann Wilson and husband, Eddie, of Woodway; grandchildren, Darrell Petty and wife, Cristi, Russell Petty and wife, Jennifer, Chris Sells and wife, Meagan, Stuart Petty and wife, Alicia, Alison Petty Stokes and husband, Andy, Elise Wilson Donaldson and husband, John, and Erin Wilson Venegoni and husband, Jason; great-grandchildren, Melody, Olivia, and Karis Donaldson, Haley and Jenna Venegoni, Lillian and Grace Sells, Ryan Petty, Reagan Petty, and Sebastian Stokes; and sister, Mary Barrett Harpole, of Smyrna, Tenn.
