Frank Doan, a son of W. S. Doan on Rural route No. 3, was united in marriage with Miss Leone Tolles, at the home of the bride's parents in Parsons, Kans., on Christmas day, and arrived in Pratt yesterday. They will make their home on the Grant Hanford farm between Pratt and Iuka, and The Republican wishes them many years of prosperity and happiness.

Born October 15, 1883 in Cherokee County, he was the last living member of the family of W. S. and Mary A. Dona, pioneer Pratt residents.

Surviving are to daughter,s, six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son.

JESSIE DOAN

A retired inspector for the Santa Fe Railroad, Jessie F. Doan, 86, of 108 Corte Maria, Chula Vista, died Tuesday in a convalescent hospital.

Born in Kansas, Doan had lived in San Diego County for the past 12 years.

Rev. Luther Hardyman officiated at services on Friday at the Chapel of the Roses. Burial followed at Glen Abbey Memorial Park. Greenwood Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Doan is survived by two daughters, including Mrs. Thelma Burchett of Chula Vista; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
