Anton Rieber married Josephine Bender Oct. 29, 1878. He worked as a varnisher, according to the 1922 Evansville City Directory, and in 1930 was foreman of the varnishing department at Specialty Furniture Co. They had five children. Josephine died in 1931 in St. Louis. Anton died Aug. 21, 1932 in St. Louis.
