FORT WORTH - Herman G. Stone, 77, a retired checker with Merchant's Cold Storage, died Friday, Jan. 15, 1999, at home.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Poolville United Methodist Church.
Burial: Poolville Cemetery.
Herman G. Stone was born Sept. 21, 1921, in Poolville. He was a veteran who served four years in the service in World War II. He was in the Army Air Force and was an aerial gunner.
Survivors: Wife of 53 years, Bobbie J. Stone; son, Billy Stone and his wife, Debi Stone; daughter, Martha Bates and her husband, Ray Bates; sister, Nina Glover; grandchildren, Joshua Stone and Michelle McCoy; great-grandson, Ransom McCoy; four stepgrandchildren; and one step great-grandson.
