He was a member in 1820 of Old Long Street Presbyterian Church in Cumberland Co NC which dates from 1758. He died on October 21, 1849 in Cumberland Co NC. Angus McInnis was married to Margaret McEachern on October 31, 1827 in Cumberland County, NC (Second marriage). Margaret McEachern died on November 22, 1873 in Cumberland Co NC. She was born in St. Paul's, Robeson Co NC. Angus McInnis and Margaret McEachern had the following children: Annie McInnis was born on November 13, 1828 in NC. She died on March 1, 1907.
