When he was almost 24 yrs old, he married 17 yrs old Jennie Lee "Bessie" SELBY on 05 June 1898 in Falls County, Texas. They had five children: E.P. Roland [1899]; Lola [1903]; Fanny [1906]; Minnie [1908]; & Georgia [ca1911]. They also had twelve grandchildren.
At age 47, in 1921, Will was employed by Humble's Baytown Refinery in the pipe department. In 1928 he moved to the watchman's department and remained until he retired August 1939, exact day not recorded. His youngest daughter Georgia died in childbirth on Aug 8th. Barely 3 months later, on 08 Nov 1939, he died too, maybe from a broken heart.
