Daughter of Honorine Amanda Mailhot and J. Alcide Zenon Riberdy, Regina was born in Montreal, PQ. Her mother died in childbirth about 1895 and Regina was cared for by her aunt Emelia Mailhot Royal. Alcide and Regina moved to Lawrence, MA c.1900 from Hochelaga. Regina worked as a mender for the Oswoco Mills, the Lawrence Mending Co, and the Shawsheen Mills. She married George Bourque in 1913 and together they had 6 children (Cecile, Eva, George, Corrine, William and Roland.)
