Mary C. (Walsh) Albert, of Avon, died July 10, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was 81. She grew up and was educated in South Boston and had been a resident of Avon for over 50 years. Mary was a clerk at Avon News for over 20 years, retiring several years ago. Beloved wife of the late Francis E. Albert, she was the mother of Kathleen Lohnes and her husband Lawrence of Avon, with whom Mary resided, Patricia Adams and her husband Robert of Brockton, Jacqueline Kearns and her husband Michael of Bradford, N.H., Ann Swallow and her late husband Robert of South Easton and Edward Albert and his wife Cynthia of Stoughton; sister of Catherine LaFleur of Avon and the late Anna Foley, Irene M. Walsh, John, James Thomas and Martin Walsh; sister-in law of Pauline and Ellen Walsh and Dolores Morse. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph, Thursday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Michaels Church, Avon, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Interment in St. Michaels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys memory may be made to SNCARC Family Autism Center, 789 Clapp Board Tree St., Westwood, MA 02090.
