Clementine was the daughter of George W. Watson and Carolina Ford Nash. Her father was a stage driver, then worked on the railroad. The family lived in Nottoway and Campbell Counties before moving to Washington County, Virginia, where she probably met her husband - William Henry or B.G. Gee. Clemmy and her husband were the parents of Carrie, Texas and Thomas Jefferson. Her husband died before before 1880, after which Clemmy earned a living as a seamstress, and she and the children resided with her mother and her brother George, a locomotive engineer.
