of
Capt. Ebenezer Baldwin,
who departed this life May 2d
1792, aged 82 years.
A reputable citizen,
A kind husband, a tender parent,
An amiable cheerful neighbour,
And a good man.
Supported by Christian fortitude
He bore with singular Philosophy
the peculiar calamities of his life
during nine years of blindness and infirmity
and the extreme pains of
his last lingering sickness
in the sure hope of a long wished for
Eternity of happiness
