Rev. Ezra Adams was the son of Eliphalet and Patience (Rice) Adams. Isa (Proctor) Adams was his 1st wife. They were married June 1814. Isa died September 29, 1832. Amy (Edmonds) Curtis Adams was his 2nd wife. They were married August 8, 1833. Amy died April 23, 1864. Rev. John Gennings Curtis was her 1st husband. Rev. Curtis was a Local Preacher and died October 20, 1827. Elizabeth "Betsy" (Edmonds) Griffin Adams was the 3rd wife of Ezra. They were married in Toronto, Canada in 1867. Elizabeth died December 6, 1881. Smith Griffin was her 1st husband. They were married about 1824 and he died July 24, 1859. Rev. Ezra Adams was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference 1815 Discontinued 1816 Genesee Conference 1817 F 1819 To Canada at organization 1824 Located 1824 Readmitted Methodist Episcopal Church of Canada 1830 To Wesleyan Church of Canada at organization 1833.

"Rev. Ezra Adams was a U. E. Loyalist and Methodist minister, whose first Circuit, in 1814, extended from Rama, on Lake Simcoe, down Yonge Street to York, and west to St. Catharines and Newark (now Niagara), thence to Queenston and on to Long Point, taking six weeks for the trip."

The forty-ninth Annual Conference of the Wesleyan Methodist Church met in Great St. James Street Methodist Church, Montreal, on the 6th of June, 1872.
Died: Rev. Ezra Adams, November 30th, 1871, years aged 84 years.

(right side) ISA PROCTOR/ Wife of/ Rev. EZRA ADAMS/ was born in Montpelier, Vermont State/ May 1, 1797/ Died at Muncy Town Mission/ Sept. 29, 1832.
