Rev. George D. Ellis was the son of Palmer Ellis. Rev. Ellis was a minister in the Onondaga Conference of the Methodist Protestant Church. Mariette (Conway) Ellis was his 1st wife. Marietta died August 29, 1875. Rhoda A. (Allen) Ellis was his 2nd wife. They were married between 1875 and 1880. Rhoda died in 1908.
