SCRUGGS, M. ED ,65, of Birmingham, died October 22, 1993. He was a member of the Center Point Baptist Church, he was retired from St. Vincents Hospital Purchasing Department. Funeral services will be held Monday at 12:30 at Elmwood Chapel, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Rev. Don Graham officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:30 until 8:00. Survivors include, wife, Mrs. Elaine Scruggs of Birmingham; three daughters, Mrs. Patsy Hall, Ms. Cindy Nichols, both of Birmingham, Mrs. Donna McKee of Guntersville; two grandsons, Mr. Jason Hall of Birmingham, Mr. Matthew McKee of Guntersville; stepson, Mr. Jay Elliot of Birmingham; stepdaughter, Mrs. Natalie Sonenberg of Miami, FL; sister, Miss Sarah Scruggs of Guntersville.
