NORFOLK - Rodolfo M. Altoveros, 65, of the 1800 block of McDowell Road, passed away March 9, 2007, in Sentara Leigh Hospital. A native of Calamba Laguna, Philippines, he was the son of the late Moises Altoveros and the widow of Bonita J. Altoveros. He retired from the United States Navy as a chief petty officer having served during Vietnam.
He is survived by his mother, Rosalina Mogol; two brothers, two sisters, four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. The burial with full military honors will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today and Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com.
