He worked at several occupations, including laborer, bookkeeper and accountant. They had two children: Lillian Rebecca Fisher (born 21 May 1885, Wyoming DE, died 17 April 1976, Dover, DE) and Carroll Smith Fisher, Jr (born 21 Feb 1888, Wyoming, DE). After the death of his first wife, he married Myra Aldrich, and they had no children. He is buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, off route 13, near Camden (Kent Co.), Delaware.
