***** Ron was a great guy who didn't want to go to war but did. My sister was devastated at the time but has remarried with four children and a grand daughter. I can remember all the events from the telegram, Ron's face in the casket, the military burial and aftermath. He will always hold a special place in my heart and we'll meet again when my time on Earth is through. He's definitly in Heaven. 33 years ago and still missed.

He was killed while in Long An, South Vietnam by small arms fire.

His body was recovered.
