Sister Maureen Funeral

Requiem Mass was offered last Monday in Villa Maria chapel, New Bedford, Pa., for Sister M. Maureen, 63, former teacher of Sts. Philip and James school at Canal Fulton, who died the previous Friday. Interment was made in the convent chapel.

Sister Maureen, the former Miss Anne Tynan, entered the Villa Maria order in 1915 and made her vows two years later. In addition to her teaching post in Canal Fulton, she also taught at schools in Cleveland, Youngstown, Painesville, and Salem.

Sister Maureen is survived by a brother, Henry Tynan of Johnston, Ia., and five sisters, Mrs.
Francis Richey and the Misses Kate and Gertrude Tynan of Canton, Mrs. Mayme Bishop of Lima, and Mrs. Bessie Hannon of South Bend, Ind.
