Died, at St. John's hospital, at 8:15 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, Mrs. Rose A. Early, of complications. She was born in County Carlo, Ireland, came to this country when a child and settled in Springfield, which has since been her home. When very young she was married to Henry W. Early, who preceded her in death. Her husband served four years in the Civil war, having enlisted in the state of Ohio as a drummer boy at the age of 14 years.
Surviving are one son, Harry; one daughter, Margaret Early Sams; one brother, George F. Doyle of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Ann Curtin of Black Hawk, Colo.; Mary A Doyle of Peoria and Christina Anderson of Chicago; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services at St. Agnes' church. She will be buried beside her husband in Oak Ridge cemetery.
