You may be gone, no longer living on this earth; but you will live on - in the memories of your family and friends. There will always be a part of you living in those who knew you. You will live on because we remember you!

LARRY LYLE WARBIS - Army - PFC - E3
Age: 19
Race: Caucasian
Date of Birth Oct 15, 1948
From: HAYNES, ND
Religion: LUTHERAN & MISSOURI SYNOD
Marital Status: Single - He is buried with his parents, (possible - Ivan L Warbis, Birth:abt 1902 and Spouse:Hilma Fromdahl - Death: 1983 - Morton, North Dakota) grand-parents, two brothers and aunt and uncles at the family plot in the Haynes Cemetery just west of Haynes, ND.

***** Larry was my cousin. He is buried in the Haynes Cemetery next to his brother, Davey. I take care of the family graves and there are 12 family members buried there. I say a prayer for him and for all on Memorial Day. All gave some, some gave all. He gave the ultimate sacrifice. I just received the details of his death from the Freedom of Informtion Act, he was a very brave young man.

***** Sharon Campbell - Cousin
Larry was very kind, gentle, and loving. He was also quite shy. I took care of him sometimes when he was a little tyke. The world is a lesser place without him. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for his country. Checking out this web site has given me more information about him and what happened than I was ever able to learn since his death. He was in Viet Nam for such a short time that I have always wondered if anyone would even remember him. Apparently they do.

***** If love could of saved him he never would have died in a land far away defending the freedom of a total stranger
Frank Banning

***** Larry Thank you for your sacrifice for our freedom. I was in the Army, also, when I read of your death in the Army Times & still remember the day well. I still think of the times in Haynes when we were kids playing on the streets of Haynes when my grandparents owned the bar there. My stepbrother, Jerry, is your first cousin. Seems like only yesterday we were just kids...I'll be 60 in 2 mos & not a day goes by that I don't think of your sacrifice & thank you! Until we meet again, God Bless You always.
