Born Sept. 12, 1890 in Cyrus, Mn.

He was drafted and went for Camp Wadsworth July 23, 1918, where he trained for about 4 weeks. He was then sent to Camp Stewart, VA. where he remained for about a week. On Aug. 28 he went to France. He was killed instantly at Givires, France.

He had married shortly before going to France & leaves a widow who is postmistress at Cyrus.

Upon Pfc. Anderson's death, Pfc. Anderson was initially interred at Grave #1629, American Section, French Cemetery, Gièvres, France on the afternoon of Sunday, June 22nd, 1919, and was finally reinterred at Grave #21, Row #14, Section C. at Oise-Aisne American Cemetery, Seringes-et-Nesles France on the afternoon of Friday, September 8th, 1922.
