☆ Company K had stopped their advance for the night and being under heavy German Artillery fire they dug holes for cover. Corporal Sutton was asleep in his hole when a shell exploded near him killing him instantly. He had a splendid record as a soldier ☆ From the book The Price of our Heritage.
