Veterinary Corps. Died in France of bronchial pneumonia, his death occurring Feb. 1, 1919. Major Williams had been wounded twice in action, spending three months in military hospitals suffering from the effects of shrapnel injuries. He entered service June 2, 1918, and was on duty with the Veterinary Corps, serving with the 7th Veterinary unit at the front in France for four and a half months. He was 23 years old.
