Anna Margaret Heieck was the 4th child of Anna Hess and
Joseph Heieck. She became a nurse and was a county nurse in
Pennsylvania for a few years. She married Louis C. Petrie in
1927 and had six children (Jean, Louis, Mary Lou, Sally,
George and Karen). She moved numerous times as her husband
worked for the Holland Furnace Co. of Michigan and was
transfered often. In 1945, the family moved to California
where her husband worked as a photographer for a year. They
then bought and owned the Monrovia Hospital until 1965.
Anna worked as a surgical nurse and also one of the
Administrators until they both retired. She lived in Covina
California from 1954 until her death in 1971.
