He married at Kenmare, 2 Sept. 1902, Elizabeth, daughter of Timothy Callaghan, and had five children: James, b. 8 Sept. 1903; Timothy, b. 20 Sept. 1904; Mary Angela, b. 15 Sept. 1906; Margaret, b. 20 June, 1908; and Elizabeth, b. 10 April, 1911.
