After Hannah's death he married her sister Priscilla and they had John, Joseph Jr and Mary Sanday, who married Earnest Gates. He died July 15 1919 in Armada, Macomb County, Michigan. He was the son Of Hester Johns or Davis (depending on the record) and William Sanday of Cornwall. Joseph is buried in the Bruce Armada Cemetery in Macomb County Michigan in an unmarked grave.
