Josephine H. Black died Wednesday, August 17, 1921, at her residence, of complications, aged 33 years, 4 months and 3 days. Surviving are her husband, Obra Black, three daughters, Eva May, Clara Emma, and Fern Helena Black, and an infant son.

The funeral services will be held at Bisch & Sons mortuary chapel. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.
