He leaves his wife of 55 years, Mary "Olive" (DeAngelis) Lopriore of Rockland, three sons Robert Lopriore of Worcester, Richard P. Lopriore of Rockford, and William P. Lopriore, Jr. of Wayland; two daughters, Marianne Lopriore of Billerica and Karen Salvucci of Lincoln; three brothers, Mario Lopriore of Millbury, Alfred Lopriore of Shrewsbury, and John Lopriore of Grafton; five sisters, Camilla terry of Holden, Josephine Sharron and Florence Lorusso, both of Shrewsbury, Gloria Truedel of Boylston and Lenore Makowiecki of Auburn; 13 grandchildren, a great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. A brother, George Lopriore, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Michael and Maria (Pescara) Lopriore, and had lived in Shrewsbury for many years. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of WWII. He had worked more than 40 years as an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #96 in Worcester, retiring in 1989. He later worked at Stop and Shop. He bowled with the Auburn A.M.F. Senior League. He was a member of St. Mary's Church, a honorary life member of the Adelphi Council #4181 Knights of Columbus, and a member of the Shrewsbury Senior men's club.
The funeral will be held Aug. 14 from Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, with a Mass in St. Mary's Church.
