Survivors include two daughters, Doris Marthin of Memphis, Tenn., and Mary Bell of Springfield, Va.; two sons, John and Patrick Whelan, both of Houston; a sister, Bertha Busenlehner of La Grange; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. March 2 at Seaside Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. March 3 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.
