Elizabeth Simonson Johnson Ansley. She was the mother of Sophia Johnson who married Cornelius (Commodore) Vanderbilt at the Johnson farmhouse in 1813. She was also the mother of Andrew Ansley. Her first husband was Nathaniel Johnson of Staten Island who was a mariner. His parents were Nathaniel and Eleanor (Vanderbilt) Johnson. She is the daughter of Cornelius and Elinor (Woglum) Simonson.
