Otis E Hutchins was from Whitehall, Wisconsin and was a graduate of the University of Valparaiso. He was employed as a drug clerk in St. Paul when he entered the military. Otis served in the 107th Supply Troop, Headquarters Company. He was killed in the sinking of Tuscania and was originally interred at Port Charlotte, Islay, Scotland on February 8, 1918. His remains were repatriated and reinterred at Arlington National Cemetery on October 22, 1920. The Otis E. Hutchins Post No. 191 of American Legion in Whitehall, WI was named in his honor.
