President of Locomotive Valve Gear Concern for 30 Years
Robert Homer Weatherly of 270 Park Avenue, since 1912 president of the Pilliod Company, 30 Church Street, manufacturers of valve gears for locomotives, died yesterday afternoon in the New York Hospital at the age of 68.
Born in Charleston, MO., he was graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and for many years made his home in that city. From 1925 until a month ago he resided at 265 Lyncroft Road, New Rochelle, New York. Mr. Weatherly belonged to the Railroad Club, Wykagyl Country Club and Westchester Hills Country Club.
He leaves a wife, Eugenia; a daughter, Mrs. Valentine P. Hattemer; a son, Tom Weatherly, and two grandchildren, Valentine P., Jr., and Robert Hattemer.
