George Augustus Wheeler, a retired stationary engineer, died yesterday morning from old age, at his residence 281 Seventh street. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Rev. Dr. W. J. Barnes, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in Greenwood Cemetery,. Mr. Wheeler was born at White Plains, N.Y., on July 1, seventy two years ago, and had been a resident of this borough more than fifty years. he was a member of Zeredatha Lodge, F. and A. M., and the Stationary and Marine Engineers Association. He leaves his widow, Ella Cutts; four sons, Robert M., Russell, Walter and Charles, and two daughters, Carrie and Grace.
