PALMER, TN - Teddy Don Birdwell, 69, died suddenly on Monday, August 16, 2010.

He was a self employed Truck Driver of 53 years and Cattle Farmer.

He was born on December 2, 1940 to Leonard and Willette Brewer Birdwell who preceded him in death along with his son, Brian Kent Birdwell; brothers, Lindell and Roger Dale Birdwell.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Christeen Sawyer Birdwell; daughters, Lisa (Ron) Peardon, Hillsboro, TN, Keisa (Tim) Schroeder, Cincinnati, OH, and Shannon (Dana) Crabtree, Coalmont, TN; sisters, Pam (Sherrill) Meeks and Pat Ann Meeks; brothers, Tommy (Viva), David (Audrey), Larry (Weedy) and Doug (Patsy) Birdwell; grandchildren, Alisha, Christa, Kellyn, Jaidyn and Caitlyn; a host of nieces and nephews and loving cousins.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Fall Creek Cemetery.
