Private Charles W. Sandel, beloved son of Mrs. E. Sandel, died of pneumonia at Syracuse, N. Y. Funeral services will be held at his late residence, 439 Sixteenth St., on Sunday, at 2 p.m. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Saturday at 3 p.m.

PVT SANDEL
Private Charles W. Sandel, who died on Wednesday at Syracuse, N. Y., was born in Germany twenty-nine years ago and had been a resident of Brooklyn for twenty-seven years, living at 439 Sixteenth Street.

He was formerly before enlisting last July, a broker employed by the Boissevain Company of Manhattan, and is survived by his mother, Elizabeth; four sisters and four brothers, Henry, Vin, William and George.

The funeral services will be held this evening at 8 o'clock at his late home, with interment tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery.

✞ Private Charles W. Sandel is buried with his parents in the Sandel family plot at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, N.Y. Buried with his also is his sister, Anna Tarshis. There may be others in the grave, a full list has not been obtained.
