John Cody, 89, of Venice, died Nov. 26, 2009.
Services and burial were Wednesday at Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro, Ky.
Survivors include his daughter, Twylynn Weber of Lake Placid; grandchildren Kimberly Weber Gross, Jennifer Weber Wassill, John William Weber and Kerry Weber Watkins; five great-grandchildren; and a niece, Esta Crim.
Mr. Cody died at TideWell Hospice in Venice. He was born in Shelburn, Ind., to the late Jesse and Viola Cody. He retired from Ford Motor Co. as a master electrician and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jane Morrison Cody, in 1975 and his second wife, Wilma Clenendon Cody, in 1999.
