Mrs. Sarah Ann Nunn died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Berry, with whom she had made her home for the past year, following an illness of a week. Death was attributed to a heart attack. She was the oldest resident of Sullivan.
The former Sarah Ann Shaw, born in Caldwell County, she was removed to Crittenden in early life and spent practically her entire lifetime here. Due to advanced age she removed to the home of her daughter about a year previous. She was well known in the Rosebud section of the county where she made her home for many years, a devout Methodist and an ardent church worker, and always active in school affairs. Her husband, Ira D., prominent farmer of the county preceded her in death twenty years ago.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Berry, Sullivan; and Mrs. Ed Haynes, Fillmore, Cal.; two sons, Roy Duke, Riverside, Cal., and Gus, also of Fillmore, Cal.
