Dominic was the son of Joseph Pedrowsky and Annie Yarosefski. It is believed that they lived in Poland or Germany. Prior to 1856 he married Anna Januszewska and they had twelve children, of whom only three are known: Mary, Rozalia (Rose) and Thomas. In 1889, Dominic, Anna, and children Mary and Thomas and their families immigrated to the United States onboard the passenger ship Switzerland, arriving in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 06 Mar. Census records indicate that he was a day laborer. Dominic died of carcinoma of the stomach at the age of 75.
