Samuel Arthur Nunn, son of John Nunn, was born near Weston, September 30, 1837. Mr. Nunn lived at Weston until the Civil War, when he joined the Confederate Army, remaining in the war until near the close, when he was captured at Princeton and was taken to Smithland. At that place he was given a parole and reached home shortly afterward. He fought under General Bragg and General Forrest.
