Heart Attack Fatal to M. N. Sewell Rites Held Monday:

A heart attack, suffered soon after he arose early Saturday morning, brought death within a short time to Moses N. Sewell, well-known and highly respected Brownstown resident. Funeral rites were held Monday afternoon from the Honeytown Christian Church, in charge was E Lacv Satterfield, Brownstown Christian pastor. Interment was in the Robertson Cemetery, Honeytown. A native of Hamilton
township, in the Honeytown community, Mr. Sewell was born August 19, 1890. a son of the late Moses N. and Abigail Swartwood Sewell. All of his life had been spent in this area and prior to his retirement he was one of Hamilton township's prominent farmers. He was an active [sic] lavman and former elder of the Honeytown Christian Church and for many years, identified prominently in all church advancement programs. He also had been prominent in Democratic politics in the county and had been a member of Brownstown Knights of Pythias Lodge since 1920. Mr. Sewell was twice married. His first wife was Teresa Edwards, whom ho married in 1912. She died in 1957 and in August of 1960. he was married to Sarah Scott, who survives. Also surviving are three sons Keith Sewell of Brownstown, Earl Sewell. of near Brownstown, principal of the Cortland High School, and
Moses N. Sewell. Jr., of Freetown, and a daughter. Mrs. Lorene Murray, of Seymour R4. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and two sisters. Mrs. Cora Spray of Columbus, formerly of Seymour, and Mrs. Bessie Spray, of Sevmour. A
daughter, two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
