Samuel L. Lane, of Springfield, died Wednesday, April 15, 1936, at residence, age 63 years. Survived by wife, Mary; five sons, John, Snyder, Ind.; Elmer, Blue Mound; Marion, Mt. Pulaski; Samuel, Jr., and Virgil, both of city; three daughters, Mrs. Belle Lindey, Wheatfield, Ind.; Mrs. Kaneda Kane and Mrs. Grace Smith, both of city; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Starkey, Morroco, Ind.; Mrs. Stella Dirst; fourteen grandchildren.
