Age 83, of Warwick, MD, passed away on August 29, 2010, at Union Hospital. She was the wife of the late: David P. Plowman.

Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Marguerite Gray Magness. Ruth was an interior designer and owner of The Red Pincushion.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Margaret S. Jeanes and husband Michael, Carolyn Evans and husband Clifford; brother, Donald Magness; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, George Wayne Staib and John Gray Staib.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 11 am to 12 noon, on Thursday, September 2, at Beeson Funeral Home, 2053 Pulaski Hwy., Newark DE. Interment will follow at 1:30 pm, at Grace Episcopal Church Cemetery, Concord Pike, North Wilmington.
