Lot 8465 is a circular lot featuring a central obelisk monument; the graves radiate out like the spokes of a wheel. Small gravestones marked each grave. The four sides of the base are inscribed with the first names of the family members; while the front of the spire is inscribed with STEELE.

Acid rain has eroded the white marble monument and gravestones; while some of the inscriptions are legible others are not and can be only guessed at from the few clear letters remaining. Several of the small gravestones have toppled leaving only the broken bases visible.

In November of 1855 seven family members were re-interred in this lot from an unknown location; The Green-Wood Cemetery records may or may not have the previous burial locations.
