"..father's first family from Norway that all perished in the shipwreck disaster on June 28, 1904, chronicled in the book Titantic's Predecessor — The S/S Norge Disaster of 1904, written by Per Kristian Sebak in 2004. Her father, known as Johan Vik, arrived from Hadsel, Vesteraalen, Norway on June 14, 1903, and later sent for his family to join him in America. His family included his first wife, Eline (37), their children Johan (13), Helga (12), Hans (10), Albin (9), Thoralf (7) and Selma (4). A 2-month old infant sister, Ida had died 5 months before the family left Norway for Dallas, Wis."
