Amanda Ledford, 77, of Gray, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
She was the daughter of the late Wiley and Minervia
Stewart Garrison and was born in Knox County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Richland Christian Church and a member of the West Knox Fire Rescue Auxiliary. She was married to Doyle Ledford on July 2, 1960.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Doyle Ledford; sisters, Helen Wathen and Mae Saunders; and brothers, Charles, John, Hillard, Crit and Ted Garrison.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday, June 3, at Corbin Funeral Home with Bro. Lucian Estridge and Bro. Barry Farris officiating. Burial will follow at Garrison-Martin Cemetery in Knox County.
Pallbearers will be Bradley Ledford, Brandon Ledford, Wiley Smith, Darryl Baker, Jack Partin and Todd Partin. Honorary pallbearers will be the West Knox Volunteer Firefighters, Derek Baker and Bob Wine.
