Lillian. R. Calkins Mapel of Sargent,. Nebr. passed away February 19th, 1976; at the Sargent Rest Home at the age of 86 yrs. And two days.. Services were held Sunday, February 22, at the Rhoad Funeral Chapel with the Pastor Wayne Hasselquist officiating. Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Sargent, Nebraska. She was married to Clarence Mapel June 14, 1928 at North Platte, Nebr. He preceded her in death as did her parents, Russell and Mary Calkins. She had two brothers, Frank and Ted and two sisters, Grace and Eva. She has many nieces and nephews living out of state, except Ina Brady who lives at Gothenburg, Nebr. Lillian lived on a farm northwest of Sargent for many years with her husband, moving to Sargent in the 50's. She will be greatly missed by her many friends in this vicinity.
